My Newest Great Grandbaby--#14

June 6 was the day that my newest g g baby was blessed by his father, Dustin Hall. And what a wonderful blessing it was! So I am posting some of the photos I took that day along with a photo of Finn's birth announcement which is my latest completed needlework.

Spencer Graduates! Yeah!

I drove down to St. George for Spencer's graduation on May 26. Spencer, I am so very proud of you and all your accomplishments. I love looking at the photos you have taken, too. I like the photo I took of you on Graduation night, my handsome, brilliant grandson! Also I got one of you walking across the stage to receive your diploma. I know that Dan enjoyed spending time with you on your photo safaris.

Dan Visits

Dan drove from California the middle of May so that he could take pictures of the scenery here and in Southern Utah. He wanted to get some pics of Zion's and Bryce National Parks. While he was here, we got my computer upgraded. He is my techical support guy. We also had fun playing Five Crowns with Lisa and Doug. However, I seem to have a hex on my game of Five Crowns. I can't win for love nor money when I play with those sharks. Dan stayed for about 6 days then took off south.

WHOOPS!! I missed Meredith!

This is slipseys. I didn't get Meredith's pic on my post. I'll try again.

Cassie and Kids

When I got home from my Rhine River trip, Cassie and her three girls came to stay with me for a bit because they had sold their home in Clearfield. Cassie wanted Ali to finish school before they left for Carlsbad. I absolutely loved having them here with me. They stayed for about two weeks and we didn't get in each other's hair too badly. I loved the way Meredith would scoot across my wood floors. It was Cassie who set up my blog for me and was so patient in showing me how to do it. Thank you, Cassie. I may still have to call you in Carlsbad if I get in a pickle while trying to do this post. I will try to do better in posting, however, I am still a bit afraid of doing it.

Two Old Ladies

While we were in the crowded market area of Brussels, we had been warned by our tour director to watch our purses, etc. Suddenly Shirlee and I were surrounded by a group of about 6 or 7 teen aged boys. This really startled us until we realized that they were trying to get us to understand through gestures, some French and a little English that they needed to take a picture of one old lady for a school assignment (I guess, sort of like a camera scavenger hunt). So we posed for their photo. So they got a photo of two old ladies instead of one and then I let them know that I wanted to take their picture so this is the photo above. This was a fun experience for us.
